I'll take the over on this one.

Hope you're right, but Flash and Juggernaut come to mind.

Two supposedly long sought after characters, both excellent sculpts, relatively low es, released in better financial times, & yet both are still in stock/available?

Don't know what it all means, but we will get to see,................................soon.

I'm guessing 500 EX, 1000 CE.

Knowing Sideshow they'll prove us all wrong and make 2000-3000 of them.

Sorry, I just think it will be the same as Mr. Freeze and Scarecrow. So 1500.

Haha. Possibly. Given the edition sizes of their last Joker and Batman, it would probably be close to those.

That's right, about the production piece. Faux leather / pleather is something I hate. Like many others, my OG Bats PF's underpants rotted and I don't know what to do about it.

...And this one does look exceptional. That mixed-media coat goes well with this sculpt. I like it!
That's true! I hope the coat and fur withstand the time.

Besides, it took over a decade to get this Penguin, & we're not going to see another again. If on arrival it somehow does disappoint, & turns out to be your purchase from hell? Then you simply sell!

That's my stance, now give me ManBat!!!!!!
"...this dastardly, tattered, grimy coat fits" Hence, even if it goes bad over time, we can always say that this is how they made it to look.

This to me is more a point with collectors that talk a big game about just make XYZ, then dont actually buy.

Juggernaut had no problem selling out of the EX though, but that is a problem when the EX is THAT MUCH better than the Reg, it's hard to settle especially at that price point. I'l bet they would have all been long gone if there was only one edition that included Kitty Pryde.

Flash in contrast had a pretty meager EX that was easily passable, and would seem to be a key character for a JL lineup. Except I don't think that many people truly are trying to build out a full JL lineup, which speaks more to how unlikely it is we ever see the Martian Manhunter. They had a hard time selling the comic Aquaman too. People picked apart Flash to justify not buying it after complaining for years to get one. Talk is cheap and thats probably among the reasons SS doesn't give much consideration to forum chatter.

All that said, I expect the Penguin to have at least a 1200 total ES. I will be stunned if it is a low number release.
