Not sure if anyone saw what DW wrote about this in the Ask Thread, but he said this is still pending approval and we more than likely won't see it up until the end of next year. That's such a long wait, man. Does anyone think it was a typo and he meant by the end of this year? There's still the question of whether or not this'll be made in 1/4 scale or be made in their new and unpopular 1/8 scale. Good grief, if you can't do it in 1/4, then at least go for 1/5 or 1/6. 1/8...really? C'mon.
If this in fact does come out for preorder at the end of next year, that means we won't see it until the third quarter or possibly the end of 2018. And that doesn't include loss of interest from collectors between now and then, so this could end up not even being made at all. I know all too well how often GG cancels their own stuff. It's like they show off this great looking Punisher just to show everyone what they're capable of doing. Then they don't follow through because of licensing restrictions and/or loss of interest. They did the same thing with Thanos at 2015's SDCC. "Look at what we can make with 3D printing everyone. Thanos isn't really getting made by the way, so stop asking us. We just wanted to throw out our best example of 3D printing technology." And then there's Venom they showed off this year too....

The latest is as expected, this Punisher will not be 1/4 scale. Not even 1/6th scale. Their recent 1/8th Venom preorder is proof of that. Speaking of Venom, I can bet that Gentle Giant is waiting to see how preorders go with him before they even think about soliciting a preorder for Punisher.
