Presumably it is more work to include said netting, I'd imagine the legs would be net free if he did ever make another appearance.... if.

it's not that the netting is there, it's that it's covered more than his body then it should.

If they rereleased it without leg nets it'll open a can of worms as those who defended the nets will complain theirs would now be worth less on the secondary market.

Yeah, they would certainly be between a rock and a hard place. Ultimately though it was a mistake on the factories part, I doubt they would intentionally repeat that mistake now they are aware of it.
