tsume only have the licence for the movie trilogy, the statue is based off the character design in the movie, not the manga. look at the faces.

Thank you for the quick response. I've only watched the 90's anime series and read some of the manga. I never bothered with the movie trilogy because I heard they were pretty awful. What's your opinion on the movies, are they worth watching?

The statue looks cool, but WAY too big and expensive for me.

it's worth a watch for the action if you're bored, from a adaption/story point of view they suck - so much content cut out, so many nuances they miss which makes berserk what it is. Animation is awful in movie 1, but gets better and the action scenes are done well.

Sorry, i believe that you did not understand the main function of this trilogy. The movies are amazing and I would say they are better than the following animations in 3D. I can not understand why one would complain about cuts, if the main idea was exactly to CUT? They need to summarize several episodes and the main idea was to get people on board for the 3d animation and they did perfectly

Zodd looks great, I also like the dynamism of Guts and Griffith but they do come off a little PVC like. I'm sure they look better in person though.

I think I will stick with Prime 1 for now.

Those 3 berserk movies ABSOLUTELY did not suck the animation was top quality, the music was great, the story was followed expertly and the characterization was on point. It was a movie trilogy you cannot compress every single little detail and nuance from a book/manga into a movie sacrifices have to be made. The creators of those 3 movies did an outstanding job.
