Math on Purpose!
For all those out there who miss math class, here's a thread (brought up from the "1" thread in the Test section...) for math brain teasers. Some might just be math problems, others might be logic problems involving math...but here's your forum for 'em. 
Here's one to start:
Teague has half the post count of Alex, but twice the post count of Pablo. If the total post count of all three SF members is 38,500, find the post count for each individual member.
(Note: this problem has nothing to do with actual post counts...)
Oh, and show your work.

Answer: Pablo's post count was artificially deflated and it's just downright mean of you to bring it up!!! 
Teague + Pablo + Alex = 38,500
Alex = Teague x 2
Alex = Pablo x 4
Teague = Pablo x 2
Teague = Alex x .5
Pablo = Teague x .5
Pablo = Alex x .25
Therefore,
Pablo x 2 + Pablo + Pablo x 4 = 38,500
Pablo x 7 = 38,500
Pablo = 38,500 / 7
Pablo = 5500
Teague = 11,000
Alex = 22,000

Wolvierine1 has 19,576 posts. 6% of his posts are general greetings (Hi ROT, GORE, et cetera). Twice as many of his posts are statue related. 1/3 of his statue related posts are also comic related while 1/8 of his total posts are strictly comic related. 2.4% of his comic related posts are video game related and another 2.2% are thread game related. The remainder of his total post count is devoted to either begging for or complaining that he doesn't get any sex. Based on these figures, what is the probability that Wolvie will have a date with a female human that will end with a successful sexual liason?

statue related = 1,175 x 2 = 2,350
comic & statue related = 2,350 x .333333 = 783
comic only = 19,576 x .125 = 2,447
video game related = 2,447 x .024 = 59
thread game related = 2,447 x .022 = 54
TOTAL = 6,868
posts devoted to begging/complaining about sex = 19,576 - 6,868 = 12,708
odds of getting any= (carry the two . . . times 4 . . . plus one flying pig) = never?
