X-Men: Days of Future Past - 8.5 better than first class in many ways. It's nice to see good x-men movies again.

3 Days to Kill: 6/10 - The first 10 minutes of this film, I was thinking "Cool. Shaping up to be a pretty awesome action flick". But then it all went off the rails. It's a really strange mix of action, thriller, drama, comedy and a little romance. An Amber Heard's character was both annoying and pointless.

Monuments Men - 4/10 - Pretty bad ... & it shouldn't have been. Great cast & very interesting story that I knew little about. Wish Clooney had taken more liberties w/ the story & had the men stay together as a band during the movie. It came off choppy as if a mini series on A&E w/ entire episodes missing. Weird little moments of WWII sentimentality created to endear & bond the characters came off as forced & out of place. It could have been a great WWII buddy movie but ended up being a weak jigsaw puzzle with pieces missing.

I just rented this from Redbox and your critique is spot on.
