So...in the absence of getting a Dodson....I do have some good news...my brother is over in Vancouver atm and attended FanExpo, in which he managed to get me an 11x17 Batman Bust by David Finch!!! I totally wasn't expecting it!!! and to make it even better....it worked out to be $130AUD!!! I thought Finch's busts were at least $200USD?
Just thought I might ask the question to you all...do artists charge randomly???
I'll have to update my CAF page later when I get the actually piece.

Do all artists charge randomly? Well, some seem to, especially with me and my jam...

Congrats Terence that's awesome!!
Bonus on the cost too! If I was gonna guess I'd say it looks to me like that's a much smaller con sketch than he usually does (certainly not the standard 11x17) which may have contributed to the reduced fee, but yeah it does seem there's often a sliding scale when it comes to artist rates! Take it and run!

Congrats on getting a Finch piece Terence!
Yeah, assuming Dave's hands are about the same size as mine, I'd say that's a 9x12. Still a pretty good price I reckon.

Hm, I think Stephen is right regarding the size of the Finch art. I've just done a quick comparison with my hands as well (granted I have huge hands )
