But I didn't go to Melbourne/Gold Coast, as I was saving for Heroescon!

Almost thought I was going to be "homeless" in San Diego next week because my accommodation arrangements run out on Sunday (last day of the show) not Monday as initially thought!

Thankfully Mike McKone and his good mate Art Shotton provided me with a sofa bed - whew!

Not sure how they'll go given that there are 2 comics specialty shops in the city (including one around the corner from them) plus Empire/Red Griffin and the rents in Hay St. Mall must be pretty high! Best,

Hadn't heard about it, but then I've only been into town once since getting back, and that was a quick trip to Comic Zone to pick up my three week backlog before heading off to the airport to pick up Ken.

Will have to check it out later this week when I head in again.

Saw your posts on the comicart-l list - glad to hear you won't be sleeping on a park bench.

I've noticed Adelaide Comics Centre attend almost every interstate convention lately, so they do seem to be wanting to increase their market (either that or move some of their huge stock inventory!).

It's a pretty good store, but Pulp Fiction Comics is the best LCS in Adelaide IMO. Better presentation, cheaper prices generally, stock plenty of Indy stuff, and great service.
