I think they, like everyone else are starting to regret these long term contracts for crazy $$...Which is good for us Yankee fans, Cano will not get the crazy money he might have gotten 2-3 years ago. So big chance he goes no where.

Cano can kiss my @ss. I wouldn't give him too much money. He's the best 2nd basemen but he's not 10 million a year better than the next best guy. The money he's asking for is for difference makers like Trout and Miguel Cabrera. Cano isn't even close to that level. To me that's the bottom line.

Agreed!
I think there offer for $180 for 7 years is more than enough. And I'd only agree to that if he gets fined for every time his A$$ does not hustle added to that contract...If not let him walk and go plan B and trade for the Reds Brandon Phillips...Especially since it has been discussed already..Be just as good and even cheaper.

Personally I'd let him walk unless he gives a home town discount. He puts up paper stats IMO. Anytime you really need an rbi or hit it's a double play. He's not clutch and I hate his attitude.
