Yeah.. next week I'll try again to wake up early enough to avoid a hotel room the first night.. sleeping should be a little easier as my wife will be home.
My insomnia usually kicks in when she's away.

My wife's not home this week, and I slept in our guest bedroom.. which apparently has a crap alarm, as I just woke up.. oh.. less than an hour ago, and I was scheduled for studio time starting around 11 am.. hahah.. whoops! Can't do a 5 hour drive in less than an hour.
Sooo.. lessons learned are: Sleep in regular bed with regular alarm clock, go to bed earlier next week (I couldn't sleep at ALL last night.. finally passed out after 2 am).. and most of all, blame the wife for going out of town... she could've woken me up. Haha!!
Soooo..now I'm leaving in about an hour. Being a religious man, I just assume I was spared a car accident by having slept in (never been in one in 16 years of driving.. well.. ONE.. my first year, but that was to get rid of the crap car my parents handed down to me.. haha!! Devious, yes. Wasn't intentional.. I didn't wait for oncoming before turning left.. my jeep was broad-sided. )

Yeah, a 5 hour drive isn't something to look forward to.

lol It's funny that we all can never be on at the same time. I say good morning to you all, then I leave to go home and go to bed, and when I come back, every one is in bed. lol
