The sequel to the best Zombie novel ever written. My copy arrived through Amazon yesterday, and I'm half way through. Will post my full review (w/ light spoilers) and rank it a.s.a.p.. over on the zombie fiction thread (see link). I can tell you one thing after 1/2 the book, so far.........It's GOOD

In the last coupla months I've read the four Dexter novels (eagerly awaiting the fifth in september)
Lindsay's dark humor and fresh observations makes for a great read.
-And Animal Farm, 1984 and A Brave New World for a paranoia triplet.

Bought it a couple of days ago.. just finished it.
Great sequel.. and I hope he ends up doing a third, but if not, he ended it at an appropriate plot-point.
PSEUDO-SPOILER: (not a spoiler, since I'm being vague, and only people who've read it know what I'm talking about, but.. still; warning given)
I like how the narrator has a major decision to make ahead of him, now... in terms of who to choose.

I loved the sequel as much as the first. It had a balanced combination of loner zombie action to multiple character interaction. Texas is as much a character as anyone else. The set up for the 3rd was perfectly believable and warranted. I gotta say it, this is the best Zombie fiction I've ever read including Kirkman's Walking Dead. This is the series AMC should have made.
