B&N has a great selection of discount hardcover editions of classic works, and I have quite a few on my bookshelf.

My first Dean Koontz book "Breathless". I'm a King fan, and I've always been told I should try Koontz. I've almost dozed off at every attempt to read this book. Like King my @$$.

You must read Dark Rivers of the Heart. Koontz said by the time he was finished writing it, h was so messed up he couldn't sleep at night.

Same here - I resisted for so long, then tried a few. Barely finished them.

Best Served Cold - Joe Abercrombie .. finished 100 odd pages.. great so far

^^ Awesome.. I almost picked it up.. but waiting fr teh paperback... i hv the 4 books in paperback.. and this HC won't go...
