The French Connection 2 6.5/10. Not as good as the first but not bad.

Wow! I can't believe how much this movie sucked.
I couldn't even finish watching it.
What the Hell happened?! The first movie was great and I had more expectations for this. Major disappointment.
This is disappointing to hear.....I have been looking forward to seeing this. I planned to re-watcht he original then follow up directly with #2.

The director was just speaking on campus here not too long ago and was talking about how it was a different experience making the second one for such a loyal cult-ish fan base as opposed to the first one where he didn't knwo if there would BE any fans. He was so excited to have the entire cast back for the second film too. Sucks to hear it is a stinker!

oh...and just to keep the integrity of the thread alive....

Curious George 2 = 6.5 out of 10

Not as good as the original, but there is only so much you can do when the main human lead is a guy that always wears a yellow jacket and hat.

Have you seen the Documentary on the making of the first film, "Overnight" mate? It's a warts and all production that follows Duffy and his crew, it's hard to watch but you can't look away! Compelling stuff!

I don't have a solution but I admire the problem.

The Box 1/10 WTF was this piece of crap? I cant believe I watched the whole thing. I swear I must have blacked out momentarily during the movie because there were moments there was no continuity between scenes.

The Informers (2009)

6/10

Not a terrible film, but not really all that entertaining either.

Well honestly it's just my opinion and personally I thought it was about as bad a movie as I've seen.
I have been known to be wrong. I love the first movie and part 2 really just didn't do it...at all.
On the plus side if you like movies which are more like music videos but more pointless, you might be more inclined to like this.
