John Wick 13/10 it is actually an 8/10 movie but I gave it 5 extra points for an awesome homage to one of my favorite movies The Warriors. If you know, you know.

The Eyes of Tammy Faye (2021) - An intimate look at the extraordinary rise, fall and redemption of televangelist Tammy Faye Bakker.
Unexpectedly funny, but when the biopic's subject in the end wore as much makeup as a clown, I suppose that is a logical direction to take. Jessica Chastain did win an Oscar for her performance and the movie also won for Best Makeup and Hairstyling. 6/10

Luther: The Fallen Sun (2023) - Brilliant but disgraced detective John Luther breaks out of prison to hunt down a sadistic serial killer who is terrorising London.
Although I enjoyed this film which takes place after the end of the Luther TV series, I really had to suspend my disbelief for much of the script. 7/10

The Banshees of Inisherin (2022) - Two lifelong friends find themselves at an impasse when one abruptly ends their relationship, with alarming consequences for both of them.
After seeing this in the theater last year, I thought it's replay value wouldn't be high because, despite the humor, it's ultimately quite somber, but watching it again over the weekend, I changed my mind. It's still great. 9/10

Mudbound (2017) - Two men return home from World War II to work on a farm in rural Mississippi, where they struggle to deal with racism and adjusting to life after war.
All-around very solid screenplay, acting and cinematography. 8/10

Navalny (2022) - Follows the man who survived an assassination attempt by poisoning with a lethal nerve agent in August 2020. During his months-long recovery he makes shocking discoveries about the attempt on his life and decides to return home.
The appeal of this film might depend on the viewer's political leanings. 9/10

Tetris - 8/10
I didn't realize there was so much international intrigue concerning the advent of this classic game.
