Can't wait for Alien Romulus! I have tickets for tomorrow night at 7 pm. I love Fede Alvarez movies, so this should be good.

Longlegs 8,5/10
Just watched it with my wife and 13year old daughter and we all loved it... freaky and dark thriller movie and great performance of Nic Cage!

Alien Romulus 8/10 IMAX

Alot to love about this new movie. Ambient, sound, decor and lighting is spot on (imo...).
Just not sure about the new lead Cailee Spaeny. Has some huge shoes to fill...

Alien: Romulus - 8/10

That was fun, feels like it had elements from all the Alien films (not counting the AVP movies). It's not on the same level as the first two films, but it slots solidly into the third spot.

Totally agree, the atmosphere was great. The F44AA pulse rifle was cool to see in action, particularly the sound, it was straight thunder in the theater and was so satisfying to see Rain unleash it. I thought Cailee Spaeny was quite good in the role.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga - 8/10

Great action and stunts, and Dementus (Chris Hemsworth) was really entertaining

"Who is it?"
"Someone competent and exceptionally resentful"

The Hunger Games: The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes - 6.5/10

Not as good as the main series of films, but still a solid watch

Alien: Romulus 6/10

it was ok overall. Actually, everything was great until the final boss... The Final boss was a disappointment.

Alien Romulus - 3/10

What an absolute cluster fu*k. Cringe ham fisted nostalgia aspects aside, the movie's first half starts as a nice slow burn but devolves into a needlessly long slog.

Then you have the second half where the attitude seemed to be "screw it, sh*t needs to happen now" and it's just one ridiculous and/or over the top set piece after another breaking immersion or any sense of tension.

The final act is not only laughably bad but completely out of place and felt like a tacked on sequence to end the movie on a bang. Good rule of thumb when making a movie is if you're trying to scare your audience but they're laughing, you completely failed.
