So all paint app on statues are Airbrushed? No wonder the lines on the Iron Patriot and War Machine were so off, lol. Course I know what a airbrush is but I'm pretty sure they use paint brushes for certain moments during the paint app process. Do you think SS artists airbrush all protos and don't use paint brushes? Cause you wouldn't get the details you see in those pictures they lure us into looking at so we can PO.

Hmm

Ex is a great idea but the final result is really desapointing !

And i am not so bothered by seams even if like everyone i don't want that on a statue ; there is often a display angle which can fit a nice pose and a hidden seam.

But on this one, damn, i don't see at all how to do that.

So i might get the REG for once.
No need to pay ultra high shipping and customs for a head i''ll never display .

I have several pieces from sideshow that are Es of 50 or less and they are great pieces but not Grail in collectors eyes so that logic doesn't always equate !

And like I said doesn't matter what happens in others minds this id already a Grail piece to us that won't leave our collection!

Sarah
ES for XM Magneto was 800 and it did not have a regular edition so total ES was 800 so that is LOW

Been lurking...

I've had some free time recently so thought I'd drop in see what's new. Clearly nothing, same old same old lol

I can't remember the last SS piece I bought it's been so long. This piece raised my eyebrow, then I started noticing all these seam issues in their official photos. So it seems SS QC hasn't changed much either. There's parts of his pants that don't even make contact with the leg where the two pieces join?....not sure how someone looked at that and said..yup...call the photographer.

If you don't like the proto your gonna hate the production pieces.

95%+ of what you see is airbrushed.

Yeah, noticed the seam too when I saw the pics. Hopefully, the seam won't be in the production piece. Will order later.
