Looking for an Artist
Does anyone know who would be take commissions for an original project, doing character designs and the like. And what would said folks charge per character? Specifically I am looking for straight character designs-head to toe against a white background--8-12 different characters depending on costs per. I'm working on a new novel and am looking for a high-end illustrator with a tight style (I like Finch, Jim Lee, Bart Sears, style), preferably a hot up-and-comer that is still affordable, or a recognized name who can take on the project and give it street cred so to speak. While money is "an object" I do have a budget for the right match. Any thoughts, suggestions or recommendations are welcome. If you are recommending an artist, please post or PM me with a link. If you are an artist or rep, please give me a rough idea of costs.
Thanks much.

check it out. Zombie got a commission from one of the artists (Andy)
this exact style may not be what suits you, but check out the above site for more. (He does other styles) Hes a fantastic artist (and super fast) and pretty well priced as well (at least the commission)
good luck with your search!

Thanks. There are just so many folks there it's hard to sift through. If there are some specific names and contact info that will help focus my search.

I have some pals over at Studio Revolver who do just that. Tom Feister, Casey Edwards, Tariq Hassan, and John Christopher all do concept work.
