What kind of collector are you????
Are you a true collector or could you be swayed by money, history or perceived value of an item and pass up your true grail??
If you could have the first appearance of your favorite character or the the cover to Action Comics #1 the first Superman, what would you pick? Ken would you pick the cover of Hulk #1 over Action Comics. Bill would you pick the first Catwoman from Batman #1 over Action Comics. Batfan I know you would pick Detective #27 so that's not really the same since the value is probably the same as picking say the 1st Spider-Woman over Action Comics. Drew would you pick Galactus?

I am assuming that we can't just turn around and sell the cover to Action Comics. I would take the cover to Hulk #1 in a heartbeat.

yup I don't count as mine would be the same piece LOL thou I would be curious what the value of that cover would actually be I mean if the comic brings 1.5 mil the cover art would have to be 5 mil at least I would think.. but sadly that art does not exist

I guess you could sell it. But we are comic art collectors and everyone who bothers to be on here is obviously a rabid collector of things. Would you sell the Actions Comics #1 Cover or get the ultimate Hulk collectible in existence?

Assuming all pieces are worth the same amount, I'd pick the cover to Fantasy 15 over anything else.
Top 5 covers that have meant to me the most as a kid (when values meant zip).
I loved these covers. I could stare at them all day.
Superman vs Spiderman (treasury ed)
The Neal Adams cover to a treasury sized comic featuring a screaming Batman, and Ras Al Ghul on the cover.
Brave and Bold #109
Amazing Spiderman 141
Spectacular Spiderman cover, treasury ed (a new Romita Sr take on the Sinister 6 story).
As a kid, I loved those treasury editions.

I'd go with the money cover over my grail cover.

Action #1 Cover. Even if it was a 9.2 CGC Action #1 Comic, I would still take that over my grail art. I would choose that over the entire Jim Lee Uncanny X-men cover run.
An Action #1 comic sold for 1.5 million. My personal grail art would be minuscule compared to that.

Ditto. Especially since the money cover is probably worth like a million dollars more than my grail cover.

Exactly. Heck one of my grail covers in the Jack of Hearts #1 cover. There is no way I'd pick that over Action #1.
