It's Singapore's biggest Toy and Comic convention again! As usual XM Studios will be unveiling lots of goodies and I've compiled some highlights to answer the most asked questions around what to expect from XM this year. Kindly note that as we inch closer to the actual event, there might be updates and changes, which I will be maintaining via this official XM page.
EVENT SPECIALS (1/4 scale Ghost Rider and 1/4 scale Green Goblin Bust)
First off, everyone's number 1 question, the launch of XM Studios' exclusive products which will make their first entrance in this event. To give a quick background, XM Studios' exclusives are NOT sold via Distributors, these XM Studios exclusives are reserved for XM events, Webstore, Walk-ins (XM's office in SG). We will allocate certain numbers for events, webstore and also walk-ins. Do note there are multiple events not just in Singapore so we do set aside (very small numbers) for other events. This is to spread out our stocks so we don't end up having 0 inventory at future events (which is strange if everyone goes visit our booths but can't buy anything!)
These exclusives are very close to our hearts as they typically represent a meaning to XM, in Green Goblin's is our FIRST 1/4 scale product. Ghost Rider to us is our 2015 'headliner product' which allows us to fully experience distribution, management of the product 100% within XM, without distributors or external partners' influence. Insights and learnings will be valuable to help XM understand more on demand, supply and distribution insights.
Ghost Rider will be Retailed at SGD990. Pre Order Deposit is SGD350 and for a limited period, customers can also opt to pay in full to get SGD100 off the retail price. E.g. if you pay in full upfront, the final price will only be SGD890. ES will not be over 999 as per our Marvel line but final ES will be set after we assess response.
Green Goblin 1/4 scale Bust will make its first appearance in our line of 1/4 scale bust products. 1/4 scale busts are designed to be companion pieces to 1/4 scale statues, without compromising on taking too much space in display cabinets. This line is also going to be extremely limited at ES of 300 or less. Of special mention is that all 1/4 scale busts are sculpted traditionally by hand, as a homage to the craft of traditional sculpting.
