The Punisher - 1:4 Scale Statue

my only real issue with this piece is the base, it looks like a total rush job - an afterthought. its bizarre how meticulously beautiful the sculpt on punisher can be then this base is just... bleh. well see what we can do about that

Thanks for the review JAWS...glad you guys are so happy with this. I'm excited.

I see where some people are coming from on the base...it's possible that was intentional. Keep the base simple to help the figure stand out more. I don't know, might be giving them too much credit.

Iron Studios Bases always seem to be an afterthought.

Having said that.. This one is good enough. Way better then the IS Wolverine base.

I finally opened mine up and was both blown away and disappointed. The statue is amazing, and I love the heads and switch-outs. I ended up having two issues with mine. The first is that the lens cover arrived broken off--which I was expecting and honestly don't really care about. The second is that bits of the left wrist broke off when I tried to put one of the left hands on. Even after it broke, only one of the three left hands fit flush into the wrist. It looks like the other hands aren't keyed correctly and are too thick for the slot. I put in a request for a replacement from Sideshow so we'll see what happens.

The base serves its purpose. The statue alone demands all attention.
