Ok Ron lim style. Anyone knows his height? He seems a bit too small on that big gorgeous base.

Seems kind of short. Has his height varied in the comics?

Just like the Classic Iron Man this Thanos is very loosely based on the artist they claim it's based on, LBS have added a lot of their own unique elements to the design much the same way Sideshow/XM do.

I wish all these LBS pieces were straight up copies of the comic versions like what Bowen did.

This would have been a purchase if it looked like this -

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Thanks for the pics alshadow, much appreciated as it gives a good sense of scale.

What are your impressions of each of the new pieces in person, any of them especially stand out ?

lol, it's pretty close dude. I can't even tell what the difference is between the statue and this image without going back and forth multiple times.

I love the base, the suit design, the pose, and the portrait - but DAMN he looks so short. He is supposed to be taller than Thor but the statue is only taller than Thor because the base is higher.

From a lower view also has a freakishly long neck. What's going on there? Maybe his head is too small??
