Not always... Gwen, She-Hulk, Mystique (long hair only) were all great IMO. Emma and Scarlet Witch and Witchblade were pretty good. Those are all the female ones I have. But yeah they're really hit or miss, faces aren't their strength historically - generally production quality and paint are.

Honestly, the only way a collector is gonna get a perfect Supergirl is if they custom make one for themselves... I'm totally getting someone to re-do the Sideshow Captain Marvel into a Supergirl for me once they have the time =)

She looks like a woman in her early 30s who works out a lot. Definitely not a late teens/early 20s SG though.

Prime1’s Artgerm Supergirl is perfection (unless you don’t like his art).

You using a broke or defective ssc captain marvel for the custom or a perfectly perfect CM? that CM is a grail piece if in perfect condition

The face corresponds exactly to Artgerm's drawing, but I don't like it at all.
I have never seen a Supergirl statue whose face I liked.
And after all the criticism that XM got for the 1/6 version, I absolutely don't understand why they don't produce a decent face and hold onto that face like that.

I love his art. But that's not my favorite version of Supergirl =)

Michael Turner's Supergirl reboot is one of my favorite comics. So I specifically looked for a statue that would look best as a retooled SG statue, and I found a brand new Captain Marvel (at the time) for around $500. So even now that she's a highly sought statue to collect, my love for SG is still my main priority over a $1k SS collectible =)

Oh no, she looks very manly. There is no way around that.

I love his art but it's not perfect either.
