Makes me wonder, how many characters would be at a severe disadvantage if the left the 3rd Strike world of being able to parry?

Sadly I have not played much of 4 since a few weeks after Hugo came out.

Re. Hugo, Daigo seems so adamant that he's ----.

Whereas the US players are willing to pursue him and other grapplers / odd characters (e.g. Rufus).

I find it fascinating when you look at the tier lists from Japan vs. US. Not that tier lists mean anything.

I just get the sense that the Japanese like quick/stylish characters while the US loves the really strong damage characters and are willing to pursue them.

Generalizing of course.

Yup Ultra is dead, just adding in random crap now then fixing the Glitches and hit box issues.

All we will see is random crap like this till SF5 hits now. they just can't fix the mechanics added into Ultra that screwed up the game.

Ya this stuff may be fun for causals but the tournaments and serious players are all dropping it.

El Fuerte takes TGS 2014!

I love how people are saying Daigo is washed up.
E.Ryu takes some serious grinding to maximise punishes. You can see that with PR Balrog too. It's going to take more time.
Besides, Daigo lost to Nemo (on fire right now) and Pepeday (the winner of the whole tournament).

I heard that Ono already said El Fuerte will be nerfed. Not sure when he said it. But I read on some forums.

Looking forward to seeing a million El Fuertes online this week.
