Took Alice out and have her displayed.. sort of.. and she's awesome, but... I'm not sure about Hot Toys.
The whole "doll" thing is turning me off a little; I wonder if a Predator would give me the same reaction.
I'm not doggin' on people who like this stuff.. I'm kinda tired of statues, also.

Ugh... seein' her in daylight, she's growin' on me a little...
.. damned well-designed figure.. and she can be posed so that she looks like she's about to deliver some serious hurtin'.
... no.. NOOO.. I was so close to getting rid of her!!
I can't decide.. I CAN'T... DECIDE.

no opinion on Alice...
but my first HT was the Iron Man Mark IV...I wasn't sold on them initially at first either. Found a cool pose for it though and put it up on my shelf alongside a bunch of other statues and now you can't even tell its a "doll". Just blends in with everything else and looks amazing.
I'm a HT convert now and have multiple ones on pre-order (Cap, Jack Sparrow, Supes, Bat/Joker 1989)
they look amazing! I was looking at pics of the new Jack Sparrow HT product last night online and my fiancee comes up and asks why I'm looking at pictures of Johnny Depp. She didn't believe it was a toy at first

Feeling the same way at the moment. I think I may get out and sell what little I have.

Think I'll pass on a Predator for now and just grab Cap, which was my original plan anyways; keepin' Alice, too.
Probably gettin' a Predator for them to face off against together, eventually, then I'm done with HT unless I cave and get more RE figures. Not interested in other properties.
