I know right....I placed my ordered quite a few weeks ago when they (CC) said there were just about sold out and only a few left. And they are still available now.

I think if the breakout rex had lived up to or exceeded expectations it would be sold out by now, because the breakout was a disappointment I think it's led to slow down in sales of other JP products. I think a lot of people have the "wait and see" mentality now (myself included)

I'm still impressed with the breakout rex. Minor issues, if any. The 1:1 raptor looks amazing people will definitely regret not snatching it up.

By why would they regret it if there are other versions or half scales?

Other versions aren't JP1 and 1:1 collectors generally don't care about 1:2 scale if there is a 1:1 available. Simply repainting this raptor in TLW or JW colors wouldn't be accurate and I don't see them re-sculpting it when they didn't even want to do the more closed mouth version they already worked on.

I'm sure they'd resculpt, but yeah, the jp1 will probably be the best seller.

I agree that in concept a 1:1 Raptor bust from the first film has the potential to be a grail but if the issues with the sculpt (lower jaw) are not fixed and/or if the paint work is on par with the Breakout Rex then it won't be a piece "people will regret not snatching up." I'm not saying it won't be amazing, it has the potential to be but after the paint work on the Breakout I do think Chronicle has something to prove. They need to show with the next JP products to go out that they can deliver on a level that meets and possibly exceeded expectations. The stego and compy have simpler paint schemes than the Rex did, one to watch in my view is the Owen and Blue, much more complex paint work required there, how that one turns out will be important for gauging longer term IMO

Yeah, from what I understand they are greatly improving their qc by staying much more involved during creation this time.
