Mrs Harris Goes to Paris (2022) - A widowed cleaning lady in 1950s London falls madly in love with a couture Dior dress, and decides that she must have one of her own.
I give this a passing grade because its earnestness seems genuine, but it's still an overly saccharine comfort food movie. Afterward I craved another screening of Phantom Thread which is a similarly themed film with much more bitterness and grit. 6/10

Morbius - 7/10
Not bad, not great, but certainly watchable and better than the critical reception. The effects showing off his powers were very well done.

Ambulance 9/10
I really like this movie. In fact after buying the Blu ray, I finally bought the 4K version lol. One of Bays better movies. The Atmos soundtrack is worth the price alone m.

Mary Poppins - 10/10.
On a lark, my wife and I watched this tonight and, gotta say, it was wonderful. Even brought a tear to my eyes. It’s lost none of the humor, warmth and heart that I recall from seeing it in the theater during my childhood.

The other day i watched a couple of oddities from the past..
Satan (2006)
5/10
Not as great as i hoped for, but entertaining enough. Certainly never boring, always unpredictable.
Vincent Cassel helps lift it up a few notches. More funny than scary.
Tiresia (2003)
5.5/10
Slow. Well acted. Quite what the message was i am still trying to fathom out.
In a somewhat unusual twist, both movies featured a similar shocking act. What are the odd's eh?

Nope - 2/10 Honestly, one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I thought I was in for a really creepy ride based on Get Out and Us, but this movie was horrible from beginning to end.
At my showing, two people left about a half hour in. Another lady got busted by security for being on her phone too much (I can only assume she was bored out of her mind). I wanted to leave, but the person I went with was enjoying it.

Nope (2022) - The residents of a lonely gulch in inland California bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery.
This is my favorite of the three Jordan Peele horror films. While, there isn't a provocative message like in Get Out, the premise here wasn't as far-fetched as in Us. The creepy slow burn of the first half was near perfect. 8/10
