Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

My Fair Lady (1964) - A misogynistic and snobbish phonetics professor agrees to a wager that he can take a flower girl and make her presentable in high society.
I saw this for the first time when there was a screening of the 50th anniversary restoration at my local cinema. Lovely. 9/10

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Crimson Peak (2015) - In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds - and remembers.
Beautiful-looking movie! The story, however, I found rather conventional and even predictable for Guillermo del Toro. 7/10

An acting tour of force by McConaughey and Leto. Perhaps slightly longer than it may have needed to be but I think it worked given the narrative progression.

Good, but predictable. Felt rushed with Whitaker's role, which could of been great. It's no Rocky or Cinderella Man.
