I received a Lunar Remastered Collection poster the other day from Korea. Just a typical transaction no surprises.

I was trying to do some digging because I just bought a bunch of cards from Canada. Looks like if anything is bought over $800 , expect a Tariff charge on it.

Vader Mythos exclusive 1/4 for EU-Netherlands.
Can't wait to see the US import fee from customs.
The tarrif is 6%, so what they announced, not more.

That's good to know. For reference my poster cost $85, shipping was around $15 for EMS, and the rest was the usual eBay fees. Korea to Connecticut.
I ordered the Gimmick! arranged soundtrack CD from Black Screen Records the other day and they were still shipping via DHL. The DHL cost was about $24 for a small box with a jewel case in it. The reason I bring this up is certain PVC figure shops overseas and proxy services such as Buyee and Mercari have stopped shipping via DHL till the tariff stuff gets resolved because it was too expansive. They're pushing FedEx Air instead. I also noticed a lot of Asia SEA shipping has been blacked out at my shops. Must cost a fortune for those cargo containers.

Hmmm....perhaps, but I see my custom statue groups lately are only offering sea shipping and they haven't mentioned any difficulty with shipping items like that.....as of yet

Interesting, wonder what dictates that. I've reached out to each of my proxy services to see if I'd incur a tariff tax on poster tubes and small boxes and they all come back and say they have no idea because everything changes day to day. So, I don't know till I setup shipping and they send an invoice. Playasia, Amiami and CDjapan changed their shipping around for the foreseeable future. Some still use SEA but no DHL and vice versa. It's just so confusing.

Just got the quote for EU-NL import fee, it's an additional 402$ so it would be really nice if they can spare EU regarding tariffs as we have nothing to do with it.

I spoke to elite creature collectibles in person yesterday about Tariffs. While, they are not as big as Sideshow or Prime, they said they intend to eat the tariffs for now until they see if all these court rulings are going to stick. If they do, anticipate an added tariff tax to their products going forward. We'll see what the bigger companies choose to do. The consumer is screwed, that's for sure.

Thought they were charging extra for tariffs on the T-Rex head?

Yes, correct. I forgot to mention that, but it was the current exception. Imagine the tariff bill on an item that expensive. You figure the type of collector that can afford that probably isn't too concerned with an extra tax on it. Those other pieces are peanuts in comparison. I don't know what the actual tariff % wound up being for the Trex head, though.
