These smaller pieces were actually much more the norm at one time. Nowadays, people like big. As odd as this might sound, we're seeing greater demand for 1/3 and 1/2 scale pieces. It's incredible.

I am still a 1/6 scale fan with the occasional 1/4 scale piece.

Ideally, 1/5 scale works best for me. It features the best of all worlds. However, this seems to be the least employed scale. I guess production companies do not wish to be confused with other scales. My display is largely 1/4 scale now. I hardly have any of the smaller scale pieces displayed anymore.

I don't mind 1/6, 1/7, 1/8, 1/10 scale, maybe 1/12 on certain things.. I guess. 1/4 is great but too big/expensive for me to collect.

Really enjoyed the SS 1/5 comiquettes. I think the line fell victim to poor character choices (Iceman, Beast) or lackluster execution (Bullseye) that kept momentum from building. Maybe things are changing with the J Scott Campbell line and Masters of the Universe.
I love 1/6 scale for space and cost, also you can have some really creative poses. If I had my way, then you wouldn't go past 1/5. Too many 1/4 scale releases whose details wouldn't be lost in 1/5, and especially useful displaying large characters like Doomsday or Darkseid.
