Damn!!! faux leather???, I was in but now I'm out. Have bad memories of Faux leather. Dont understand why not real leather for the price. Gutted because looking forward to this one. I had a statue with Faux Leather that wasnt in a warm climate, it fell apart.....

I'm out.
The EX head is cool but not scene specific so I would have passed, but a PU leather jacket? No, no,no.
To make it worse, the description is very deceptive.
From SS:
"The statue is made of high-quality materials, to give a more realistic look and feel the head is using premium grade silicone. The detail of each part including the leather jacket is pure perfection"
Using "high quality materials" followed by "leather jacket" when it is a type of faux leather.
This is simply deceptive marketing and I won't support it.
Also from SS:
"materials used: polystone"
Get it together SS, this is a several thousand dollar item, provide some accurate and complete descriptions

I would love a terminator 1 piece like this but i agree with you guys. The Queen studios T2 bust was $3500 and that piece has way more silicone plus actual real leather for the jacket. I just couldn't get this with Faux leather. You know how bad that is going to be once it starts to peel.Im pretty surprised they didn't do real leather for this.

So what is up with this Faux leather?.
Iv'e read a lot of people not happy about this faux leather in genreal on model kits, it peeling etc. I have'nt experince any problems as of yet, touch wood, 10+ years and the models are fine.
I had a jacket that I wore that fell apart, but thats due to usage. If its untouched, in one position, then it should be fine, no?

For some reason I thought this was cheaper when it first came out $2500 for the deluxe and like $21-2200 for the regular.
Does anyone recall this?
