I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Thank you for the reply. I'll reach out, I was hesitant to take their solution on Kitty though, as they wanted me to smash her up, provide pics, and they'd send me a new one supposedly. They didn't offer any kind of guarantee or even case number to reference if there was any issue getting the replacement though, so that made me nervous just smashing up a $130+ statue and hoping I get a new one.

Recently got this Mystique. What a sloppy paint job by DST.
In case anyone had doubts about the validity of my claims, here's some pics of the chips and sloppy paint work. I guess some people were lucky and got a good one. I was not so fortunate.

I currently have a number of premier statues and some POs. I know this is a budget line but it seems quality control is non-existent at all. My takeaway here is that I at least have the tools to touch up sloppy paint jobs and sculpts. But down the line, I might stop buying from this line and stick to Bowens and Koto FAS. The value would probably just keep on dropping on these things.

did they get the untrained intern to paint that? That looks horrible. I am sorry to see that and even sorrier that you spent the money that. I like the fact that they did Mystique in her original look but I hope you can return it or find someone to fix it. The one pic looked like there was a chip out of her on her leg.

Yep, multiple chips on the hair and a deep one on her leg/butt too.

If you write in to CS, or the website, I will look out for the e-mail and get you a replacement due to the chip issue.

The merchant (DCBS) wrote me back and said they'd replace her, and a new one would go out in my next shipment (though no one knows when that will be due to the DiamondST hold,) but I'm in a lock down area too so I'm trying to find out if the return will be a pickup by UPS, (like Amazon does) or not. I'm also in a dually immuno-compromised household, so the prospect of having to out to a shipping location doesn't thrill me right now, but beggars can't be choosers in the end. But We'll see what they say.

If that doesn't pan out...

I actually have an email in to DST today to find out if they can offer any options. I'll let you know if they/when they respond.

Thanks for following up. I sent the first email at 1:30AM CST on 4-11. I just resent it again (to customerservice@diamondselecttoys.com) just now, 11:29PM CST 4-15. Images included both times.

Well I have a few of the Gallery pieces already, always impressed with them for what they are. Finally broke down and ordered two of the Premiere line, Elektra mostly because she was on sale, and Iceman because frankly, that piece blows me away. Probably add Moon Knight after that.

DST has been a sneaky add to my collection, slowly building in numbers, lol.
