Wow, this is a tuff one. In no particular order I’d have to go with these..

The Goonies
The Karate Kid
The Shawshank Redemption
A New Hope
Jaws
Goodfellas
Raiders of the lost ark
The Piano
Predator
The Departed

I am sure I left out a few, but if I was stuck at home (oh yeah like now) these would be the ones I need.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Hot Fuzz - For me, this is the perfect comedy. It works on so many levels and even after I know every joke I still marvel at how tight the writing is along with being a really well crafted film.
Amelie - Romance has been tricky to portray, but Amelie is rare magical movie that sweeps me away and melts my heart every time. The soundtrack is mesmerizing blending the line between the real and the sublime.
Blade Runner 2049 - This movie shouldn't be possible. A long awaited sequel to an absolute beloved classic? Yet, it manages to build on the original while reframing it. Some of the most gorgeous cinematography I've ever seen.
The Return of the King - The definitive fantasy trilogy and hard to choose, I went with the conclusion seeing all the characters together. Remarkable how well it has aged in the computer heavy age.
The Holy Grail - Seemingly a right of passage for young nerds, Monty Python shapes so much of my surrealist absurd humor. Laughed at it as a teenager, laugh at it now for completely different reasons as an adult.
Princess Mononoke - Animation holds a special place in my heart, and Ghibli was a revelation seeing Japanese take on the medium. Can argue for any of their movies, for me Princess Mononoke was my first exposure and blew my mind.
Pans Labyrinth - Del Toro is a visionary, and this is his masterpiece for me. Combining my love of history and fantasy he crafted one of the most beautiful movies I've ever had the joy of experiencing.
Back to the Future - Big one from my childhood, BttF is such a strange and fascinating blending of genres that it became rare movie my whole family watched for different reasons.
Fight Club - Some films really mark a point in your life, and this was late teenage me. It forever changed how I watched movies with its famous twist. The reason I kept Fight Club on here was watching again as an adult was like watching a whole new movie.
MST3K: The Movie - This is the ultimate quoteable movie for my brother and me, and of all these the one we watched the most. I still love the series and its place in my life is secure for a long time.

This is really hard and tons of beloved films left off. I considered putting a MCU film in here, especially Infinity War or Guardians of the Galaxy. To me it's a lot about memories an how films shaped along the way. Each of the ten above are snapshots of points of my life. I can't distill 20+ MCU into a single one, but as a collective definitely would be in top ten.
