Great visual which had the matrix inception look to it. Had some good laughs when he dawns the cloak. The only thing I did not like was Dormammu. Felt really cheap effect like what fox did with Galactus or Green Lantern Parallax. I'd took a whole point of that.
Not sure how it's played out when he interacts with an avenger member? Will he be in it?

Dormammu wasn't as bad as Galactus in the second Fantastic Four movie. At least the Dormammu head looked somewhat like how he was originally drawn in the comics with the vertical lines down his face.

You state "very Marvel-formulaic movie" like it's a negative. Box office and comments here show that's what a majority want.

After seeing over a dozen of these films, I'm ready for something a little different to move my standard Marvel Studios movie rating above 7/10. If that places me in the minority then so be it.

TMNT: Out of the Shadows - 3/10
All eye candy but nothing in plot or acting. Krang was a letdown --wrong voice too.
If you drink a 6 pack of Coke and eat a bag of Halloween candy, you might enjoy this fast paced, loud mess.

I was so dissapointed with Krang's voice too, was hoping it would be like the cartoon lol at least bebop and rocksteady looked pretty cartoon accurate. Its unfortunate Shredder didnt really get to do anything cool in the movie

I too am getting a little be fed up with the "Marvel Formula" pretty much can tell you when things are going to happen in every Marvel Movie now. I thought Winter Solider, GoTG and Civil War were a bit different to the cookie cutter Marvel movie but not holding out much hope going forward.
Afraid to say I'm quickly getting to my Marvel movie saturation point

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Agreed. I think director Dave Green (of Earth to Echo) completely missed the boat here with Krang's voice. It was too gruff and not high pitched enough.
Michael Bay got it right by casting original voice of Optimus Prime with Peter Cullen.
Green should have done the same with Pat Fraley --Krang's original voice from the cartoons.
As for Shredder, definitely a letdown with his lack of presence against the Turtles.
