I usually stay out of conversations like this but i have to say i am sick of them!!!

who by the way along with myself and the other aussies have not been on the last two rounds at least of Chris's work not to mention Matts or others
or that you didn't make a point of others who are clearly going to be getting on the list twice in a row (sorry Jose it was just an easy example)
why do we get singled out - we do try and get in on the list when they open up at times that is our right and yet despite the opportunity to take spots for ourselves we let it go for others and sometimes use them to get gifts for others

the big uminga lists we do arrange and that get the visual impact and recognition are exactly that a LIST - where we generally allocate gifts and also invite people to join in on the list whether aussie or not cause we don't discriminate. we wait 10+ months sometimes and we are happy to wait and let other list go before ours in order to not being greedy. We wait patiently for the list and have pre-arranged finish times that go over at times due to other committments by chris or matt - and we never complain and we pay on time.
Funny thing is anyone could do this but no one does.....
but when a short list comes up on the SF threads it ooohh ooohhh don't let the aussies - we never ask for more than one piece when we try to get on the list IF we have its usually to get one of our fellow SF members usually USA SFers a gift!!!
over the last 2-3 years we have gotten large lists from artists its true - whether its to introduce them to SF or to share the bounties

so in all i think that despite "aussies" getting big listswe usually get gifts and open the list to anyone
we are a bit isolated with cons so when we order from overseas we do so as a group and in bigger quantities (saving shipping) but we do share
we are always sending out care packages with art gifts and food ( Eg paddy ansel lou scottie brits) we like to promote a sharing and fun atmosphere
BUT i must point out we have also been on the receiving end of some amazing generosity and friendships
i see you complain about the aussies and then come on the thread and be all friendly i don't understand. i see you complain about us getting on the list but youre not on them - do you want a chris piece if so order! there are a few people who complain about us getting on there but were not the only ones and lately not the ones at all. Some people who complain have also been invited to join previous lists or offered gifts of pieces and refused!!! so i am sick and tired of these negative attitudes about us and them when we love to share and spoil!
