I decided to wait. I had a doc appointment to get it done but I had to postpone it because I had to finish a bunch of work (doing the surgery would have totally immobilized my drawing arm for weeks to months) and by the time I cleared my table, it was the holidays and then the inflammation went down and I no longer had constant pain. And now it's con season so - it's on hold. Probably til late this summer - but we'll see. Now I want to talk to the doc again and see if this is going away on its own or if he still recommends surgery. I doubt it - but he may say to do physical therapy. But for now, I'm good to go.
