I've always been under the impression that Hiss's human form is meant to be a disguise. The vintage design looks like a disguise. He may look a little suspicious but one wouldn't think he is an Evil Snake God. The 200x version does little to hide the Evil God part.
Edit: I don't remember requesting a Filmation rocket Hordak. In fact the 200x Horde designs are the few 200x designs I prefer.

not saying you personally, just using that as an example of how little He-Man as a brand makes sense is all

I don't think you could have Skeletor on a throne, it would look off when you pair him with the current out stretched He-Man.
As for King Hiss, he rules an army of snakes. I always preferred the disguise as more of a way for his foes to underestimate him, not so much to blend in.
I am also one for the 200x designs being better, however I'm loving these Filmation statues.
I also have no interest in figures.
Now, bring on Spikor!

I think Skeletor and his throne would have to be a special piece like the Masterworks series as I think it would need to be larger. Still Skeletor does not have many iconic poses so I don't know what else they would use. probably just holding his staff.

Yeah, I don't really know what you are getting at. I stated a design preference and you questioned it so I elaborated. I think the Epyptian influences in the 200x Hiss and Sorceress designs were odd and unnecessary. I'm not trying to change or criticize anyone's opinion.
What Hordak's crazy shape shifting in the Filmation cartoon has to do with anything, I don't know.

the only thing it has to do with is illustrating that in the world of He-man nothing can be considered odd or out of place

I think we will get a She-Ra.
If John Cleary or someone else can do as good a job as they did on Teela then I really really want all the females from She-Ra. In POP The Mattel designs sometimes outshine the Filmation. They would make for amazing statues. C'mon Jerry!
