Jason Bourne: 6/10 - Finally got around to watching this on iTunes. As much as I did enjoy it, it felt too samey.
The story was not particularly compelling or original and there was way too much of the 'power walking through crowds with ear pieces' going on.
Always loved the Bourne franchise but I think it may have finally run out of puff.

Haven't seen it yet myself but this is what I was afraid of. I know a lot of people bagged on Legacy but personally I thought it broadened the core narrative in a compelling manner even if it lacked the intensity of the original trilogy. Returning to the Jason Bourne character without tying into that narrative always felt like a cash grab and reviews such as your's just solidifies that in my eyes.

Arrival 8/10
Wonderfully told character study with a sci fi bent. Absolutely loved the story, which was one of the more original I have seen this year.

Arrival 8.5/10
I also enjoyed it thoroughly, very thought provoking movie and a nice departure from the usual aliens come to earth to blow us up etc etc

I am looking forward to seeing this one maybe over the weekend. Glad you enjoyed it as I loved Sicario.
