It might be exacerbated by the relative quality of the photos but the difference there seriously looks like an original piece vs. a recasted knockoff.

It's weird, the faces look very different. In the original her face looks more rounded. In the production piece her cheeks look longer. The masked head looks good. I would display her like that if you keep her.

The production piece definitely has flat paint apps. The sculpt details also seemed to be lost. Hard to tell how much of the face distortion is due to the fisheye camera lens on phones versus production issues. Need to see more pictures to judge the factory casts. But the paints are just subpar for this grade of statue.
