This was 2 years ago we got over 2 feet,if that was in Texas would shut everything down for weeks.

Well just got my shipping invoice and paid it. USPS total cost me around £70 to ship.

Yikes! That's pretty darn high for shipping dude. I thought the shipping costs were included when you paid off the piece.
