I think it could be done but it wil take some patience and McGuyver to get it packaged safely.

no way - I have one and its the most fragile piece Ive ever seen.
my first one (in original box) came in broken.

Ye of little faith. It just takes diligence and a little planning I know I could package it without it being damaged in shipping.

It isn't so much that it can't be done, it's the care and willingness to go the extra mile and insure it does get done properly. Based on the seller's comments it almost sounds like he doesn't even have faith in his ability to pack it properly and all but warns the buyer of this in his description. Red flag.
