I?m sure the quality is extreme, I just don’t believe a single “master painter” painted every single statue (from beginning to end).

And as far as the master painter actually painting them goes, if he didn't paint them then I don't see any difference really. Mine looks exactly as high-quality as the promotional images, so no complaints here!

Maybe this was a new sales business model that Prime 1 is experimenting with.

Ridiculously high price with low ES and Sales Volume = higher profit margin per statue.

Isn't that what Rolex and all the high-end purse brands do?
