I am actually the lead hater on the PF, lol. I am just disappointed in it. The Jean PF could have been gold. BUT, I forgot to take what the rest of the line looks like into context. The X-Men part of the Marvel/Sideshow line was never great. The only great pieces from it were Gambit, Sabretooth and Mystique. The others were questionable. I think I will fall in love with her once she is home. I actually got two of them.....An exclusive and a Regular. It might be hard to let one go, lol.
But I will have to, since I have a possible XM Phoenix coming.
Honestly, the Bowen Jean Grey for $400 isn't bad. She is awesome. I would say she is definitely worth two of the other Bowen female statues. She is probably his best female statue, period. Just beware of leaning issues.
As far as this piece. It is pretty awesome. BUT, there is always the Christmas version too. And it looks like some websites have it on sale/clearance. So you could get that sculpt cheap. I know the Christmas version might not be as appealing, but it is better than missing out on her. I wouldn't be surprised if DC decides to do another Harley later on. They are doing the Harley/Joker piece. Maybe get that one. I am probably going to. I love it.
