I've done some repairs, now to see whether I am able to forget what happened or if it continues to bug me.

You could limit the damage by painting over the broken part if you so desired to, an had the know how - I could never do it!

I agree that I got rather lucky with the damage - personally I wouldn't go anywhere near it with paint, would be too afraid of spoiling the gorgeous paint job it already has. And from the front of the statue, you can barely see the break at all, which is rather a nice surprise.



I'm just going to make sure I'm more careful with my Batgirl when it arrives to avoid situations like this happening again.

Yeah, my Steve Rude BAtman cape just snapped in half for some reason when I lifted it from the base - And it was n=one that the Dude signed on the base when I bought the statue design so there was no buying a new one! My dad luckily fixed the cape and repainted it so you can't see hardly any damage

Turns out she was way more damaged than first thought and during the night she snapped at the glued chip and her other foot broke along with the smoke. So guess I'm on the hunt for a new one. Just glad it wasn't a first edition tbh.
