Came across a neat video on YT where someone used relatively cheap extruded aluminum bars with M5 bolts and made a box. Was easy to slide acrylic sheets into the sides and top using the channels. Might not be strong enough to mimic a Moducase, but it could make for a neat cover one could put over a PF that's resting in open air on a shelf.

Just following up on my Moducase experience.

The order from January 2022, finally got to me in Pennsylvania just shy of 26 Months later, March 2024.

Now I still have orders from March and July of 2022, I was informed by Moducase that neither will be to me before June.

The better news is they say my April 2023 order will also be to me in June.

26 Months is crazy, 14 months is better but none of these are customized.

Were they worth the wait for me? Yes. Great structure added across multiple walls, with lighting and sealed tight. They put incredible emphasis on the statues within the space.

Could I have built something, yes, but after renovating the basement, it's nice to just assemble something and put it in place with great effect.

Congratulations! That's one hell of a wait but I'm happy to read that you like them. I got some those units as well and have been very happy with mine too.

The only major challenge seems to be getting the MAX140 Plus panel to arrive in one piece. Arrived cracked multiple times for me and we were almost ready to give up. Everything else seems like a very safe bet for ordering though.

Did you by chance get any SIXTH98?

I've not seen many collectors with those. They're perfect for displaying two shorter 1/4 statues or one tall / skinny statue.

Here's the SIXTH98 for perspective. I ordered one for Dazzler a few months back. Don't mind the mess and the hanging cords. Have been in a state of rearranging the basement for months lol.

If you go this route you'll have to get the shelves separately but they're not too expensive. They're great for the smaller quarter scales. Honestly wish I had ordered more originally.

Nvm...was trying to attach photos and it won't let me. Says I've exceeded the limit for some reason... Will try again later.

How funny, when you said ?it will fit a tall thin statue?, I right away thought of Dazzler!
