Anyway, this is what Arahom has to say and I really can't argue with that. Not much to go off of about Achilles and how he looked in life! Hell, to be honest, I thought it he was just a created mythological character for the story.

"I know some of you were waiting for a more historical depiction, but after much thought, I realized that there isn't a recognizable historical image of Achilles, and the movie Troy is what we have the best in terms of Achilles, so I decided to stay truthful to our previous designs and not stray away from it.
I made some changes that I considered pertinent, but in my view this is the best way to depict the Mighty Achilles without copying the movie Troy."

The fact that there is not a recognizable image of Achilles is the main reason I complain. You don't have to follow a specific face or image, so from sculptor's point you can be much more creative. This very reason also I think that is an artistic advantage: give your best and fullfill an idea without having to follow strict rules of a specific "Achilles" prototype. I mean after all you are an artist so give us your fresh artistic idea and don't stay on already given ones.
PS: I put an image in my first post but I don't know why it does not show.
PS2: The image must be ok now.

The Trojan War and Achilles are for the most part myth. There has never been definitive proof that either existed or took place. We have the poem and some artifacts that give us a small glimpse of what might have existed. But there are images of him throughout the Greek world.

He is so bad ass, more bad ass than Spartans, that he goes to battle naked.

Arahom said the new 1/4 Achilles is sculpted in a way as to be a complementary piece to the 1/4 Leonidas.

I like the idea of 1/4 Scale Troy. its been one of the pieces I have been waiting since buying ARH. I would like the spear to be on his shoulder just the part in the Movie battling Hector.
