Maybe Gambit is restricted because he's got an upcoming movie on the books.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Fantastic Four is also off the table (from what I last heard). I know I've seen some recent Sue Storm merchandise like a Marvel Legends figure so I may need to get an update.

Our current contract does allow us to do X-Men and Deadpool characters (with a few exceptions like Gambit).
Awesome news Mr Gonk. Will there be a chance you will continue to re-do the Original 6 Marvel Bishoujo's in a bigger scale to match the current bishoujo line.

you re-do Psylocke and Black Widow

eagerly waiting for

ROGUE
EMMA FROST (Jimlee Era)
PHOENIX both dark and green
SCARLET WITCH

Hey Gonk thanks for reaching out and getting a feel for how to best move the Fine Art Line forward and make it even better than it has been.
I think Comic versions is the the way to keep this line going and it kind of keeps it exclusive too.
Since largely the consensus seems to be for comic versions of characters , I'd like to see some obscure characters get the Fine Art treatment every now and then. It's always better when Statues are released as a part of a series with complimenting Bases and themes. That's my personal preference but some characters work well as individual standalone pieces too.
The price point on Fine Arts seems fair at about the 200$ mark give or take depending on how big or complex these designs get.
It would be nice to see some new artists join the Fine Art line too to give Erick a hand to help maybe have 3 releases a year. Some digital artists I think work best for certain characters and bases or help compliment Erick's phenomenal sculpts.
The QC and especially the paint jobs on some of the releases has been a downer on some pieces and would truly appreciate if steps were taken to ensure paint jobs are well done and vibrant.
Having said that would be great to see DRS line churn out a Jubilee, Storm and a Professor X in a hover chair, Forge, Longshot
X villains like Mystique, Blob , Zero, Spiral, Pyro
Other characters that I'm really looking forward to adding
Antman
Rhino
Doctor Octopus
Iron Fist
Luke Cage
Doctor Strange
Sentry
Cross Bones
Winter Soldier
Arnim Zola
Baron Zemo
A Skrull 2 pack

Thanks again to you and your team for reaching out and keeping this line going. The 1/6 scale could really do with some Lovin.
Cheers!

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Thank you for soliciting our opinions.

Would forum members be interested in seeing movie and TV characters included in this format?
No....stay with comic book versions please.

Has pricing gotten to a point where you rather spend your dollars elsewhere?
As long as prices can hover around the current price point (inflation is to be expected) then they are fine.
And please try to stay within the current sizes you do now (roughly 1/6th scale) because there are plenty of companies that do 1/4th.

Do you prefer stand alone releases or pieces (like the DRS) that also work together as a team?
Both.

Who are your most wanted characters?
Capitalize on the popularity Netflix and Marvel studios has brought/will bring to the public that are just discovering characters that we comic book fans have adored for years.

Characters like:
Iron Fist
Luke Cage
Black Bolt
Captain Marvel
Winter Soldier
Black Widow
Dr. Strange

Perhaps re-release characters that are no longer in production and harder to get or produce new versions:

Captain America
Modern Hawkeye
Modern Thor
Daredevil

Don't forget about the villains:
Loki
Bullseye
Kang (not sure about the legal right issues )
Ultron
