Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

12 bucks to ship, that's a rip off. My brother works for UPS, it should not cost more that 6 to 7 bucks. Why does he have to pad shipping to make a extra 5 bucks. If he wants to make 10 bucks on the item why not just say 77 with free shipping. I hate when people pad shipping! I don't know why but it is one of those things that ticks me off!

That never bothers me. I just consider the shipping price into the total amount I bid.

I'd rather that money go to the seller instead of ebay anyways.

Yeah, I guess you guys have a point. In the end it's all about saving cash. It's the implication that they are selling a item cheap and then screwing you with shipping that bothers me.

omega, your point is not always so true. if the shipper has to buy a box, that can cost him easy, $3-$4. plus he has to buy peanuts to package it and ship it. that takes time which is money. I have top UPS discount and a package from Miami to California might be $10 not including any expenses. Vader is over $21 due to box size and weight over 13 pounds. The box has to be a large custom one so it's costly as well. I happen to buy boxes by bundles but not everyone has the volume to do that. Also, not everyone has UPS top discount as well. He might have to go to the UPS store and pay top dollar. $12 isn't much for the time and expense that is put into one item. Do the math and see if he's really ripping you off. One cannot expect to buy an item and the seller to eat the cost of materials and such when one is already buying the product under retail. I don't see anyone complaining about starwarsshop selling items at retail as well as sideshow or any other major store, manufacturer.
Just thought i'd give you another point of view as well.

You have to consider handling costs as Danny says. Just be wary if they are totally over the top.
