Exactly. Pointless feature.

Seriously gritting my teeth, as SSC screwed up my replacement. Going from a complete replacement to only the lower part of the base and the body...

Of course the swirl doesn't fit the new base (which has paint issues) and the new body has several rather apparent paint issues as well... And now they don't want to replace it anymore... Guess who's going to go and let things escalate...

Agree. I can't stand them either and I want to slap a person every time I see them begging for a light up to be added.

Perfectly happy with my G/L with light-up power battery and ring.

Sorry to hear about anyone with issues on this piece as I don't think it is widespread. The most common problem I read is trying to mate the swirl into the ring but as I mentioned in an earlier post, if you put the swirl in the ring 1st and then into the base with the statue, no problem. No hair dryer. Problem is if you put the swirl into the base, then the statue, then into the ring. The best Green Lantern statue I have seen yet in my opinion.

Hi, can anyone who has this confirm if it is out of scale with regular Sideshow PF's?

I have seen pictures that make it look much smaller - like 1/5. I even seen a pic with the original Sideshow GL, which was known for being undersized already and again it looked smaller.

I was hoping to mix and match the Prime 1 New 52 line with some of Sideshows new DC PF's, in particular Superman and Wonder Woman to form a full JLA team. Unfortunately, from the few pictures I've seen it doesn't look like this would look right...

I've measured him using a rope and he's perfectly in scale to the stats. If a scale is off, it's SSC's PFs.

Yeah I could believe that it's Sideshows scale thats off. Do you have any Sideshow PF's and does he look right next to them?

The way the character is leaning back probably distorts the scale somewhat (when it is placed next to a statue where the character is standing up straight).
