I don't know that Namor is more powerful than Aquaman. It seems to me that Aquaman's strength has become very prodigious over the years. He's done some almost Superman level feats of strength in the last few years.

See and I always disliked Namor because he's the pompous jerk royal where Aquaman is the troubled king who always tries to do fair and right and never seems to have the backing of Atlantis or the surface.
That and Black Manta...who doesn't love Black Manta?

Pretty much the way DC has managed its movie properties, with the exception of Wonder Woman, so that they don’t resemble the actual source material. Except that this tactic has led to major busts this far.

I think it’s more of a cheee-hooooo, it’s a Polynesian gung-ho thing, I know as a kid growing up in Hawaii I heard it a lot when the local people did exciting or exhilarating stuff like jumping off high rocks into the ocean or ponds, I think it’s his way of incorporating some of his Hawaiian heritage in there since Hawaiians are really part of the ocean in culture.

Promising trailer. I think James Wan will deliver visually. Seems this is one of those movies where it would benefit from a strong supporting cast and story as JM is an awful actor (based on his past movies). He's got the same benefit that Channing Tatum gets, eye candy.

I'm trying to figure out if this movie will actually be good, or just "DC Good". Like Wonder Woman. Good movie, but not great and loses it's luster over a few viewings.

True, in Johns’ New 52 series. But historically and for decades before New 52 Aquaman never was even close to Namor’s strength level.
