When I was about 14, I slumped down onto my mums dressing table stool and broke it, so in revenge, she grabbed a load of my comics and threw them out the back....in the rain! They were bagged and boarded, but the rain seeped in to many and crinkled several of my issues of Detective Comics. Slightly petty behaviour from an adult if you ask me, I didnt break the stool on purpose!
